Information we collect
Information you give us
When you email, call or message us, we receive the details you choose to share, such as your name, email address, phone number, company name and information about your project or systems.
Information collected automatically
When you browse our website, some information is collected automatically:
- Analytics data. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, for example which pages are viewed, how long visits last, the type of device and browser, the referring website and an approximate location derived from your IP address.
- Server and security logs. Our hosting provider records technical information such as IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the request. These logs are used to keep the website secure and running.
- Display preference. If you switch between light and dark mode, your choice is stored in your own browser’s local storage. It is not sent to us.
How we use your information
We use personal data to:
- reply to your enquiries and provide proposals and services you request;
- manage our relationship with clients, including contracts, invoicing and support;
- understand and improve our website and content;
- protect our website and systems against misuse and security threats; and
- comply with legal, tax and regulatory obligations.
We process your data on the basis of your consent, to take steps you request before entering into a contract, to perform a contract with you, or for other legitimate uses permitted by law. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
Cookies and analytics
Google Analytics sets cookies, such as _ga and _ga_*, to distinguish visitors and measure usage. We do not use advertising cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on to stop Google Analytics from collecting data about your visits.
Our website also loads fonts from Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser connects to Google’s servers, which receive your IP address and browser information.
Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run our business, and only as needed for the purposes above:
- Hosting: Hostinger, which hosts our website and server logs.
- Analytics and search: Google, for Google Analytics, Google Fonts and Google Search Console.
- Communication: the email and telephone providers we use to correspond with you.
We may also disclose information if required by law, court order or a government authority, or to protect our rights, our clients or the public.
International transfers
Some of our service providers process data outside India. When this happens, we rely on providers that apply appropriate safeguards and we transfer data only as permitted under Indian law.
How long we keep your information
We keep enquiry and client information for as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, for the duration of our business relationship, and afterwards for as long as required by tax, accounting or other legal obligations. Analytics data is kept according to the retention period configured in Google Analytics, after which it is deleted automatically.
How we protect your information
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls and keeping our systems up to date. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and will act promptly if a security incident occurs.
